The first Midwest All Star Bash is now in the books. First of many more to come. Weather was forecasted for scattered thunderstorms throughout the weekend which would have made this the first rain drift day since the first time at USAIR. Lucky for us mother nature showed the weatherman that men still can’t tell what a woman wants.

With there being 2 days the event was very relaxed, plenty of run time was to be had for all the drivers. Speaking of the drivers we had guys ranging from all over the Midwest. Illinois, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Missouri, Indiana, and Michigan. Even some other familiar faces made their comeback to the track.

Preparations for an ASB include wheels, wheels, wheels, with tires, tires, tires.

Because that happens, and tires dissapear. In some cases they take out rear over fenders and hit kill switches…

Tandem also occurs, lots of it.

Theres also lots of big wings.

If you missed out, that sucks, it was a great time. And it won’t happen again for another year, now back to the regular old drift days.
